Hi! I’m the owner of Prickly Rose Entertainment. I JUST finished designing this website (slash learning HOW to design a website) so I really don’t have the capacity to write a brilliant self bio right now… take what you will:

I got my start in the film industry as an actor in late 2020. I LOVE acting and it has been going SO WELL, (check out my IMDb), but I also LOVE living in Calgary and while our film industry is booming, there are simply not enough opportunities to have a sustainable career as an actor here.

Which is why about two and a half years ago I decided to start making my own opportunities and start producing. After a successful first short film, I started my production company, Prickly Rose Entertainment.

Since then I’ve been on the production team of 14 small scale projects and I have completed two incredible producer accelerator programs.

I am now ready to expand and start producing larger scale projects, including the feature film ‘The Saint and the Bear’ and the TV series ‘Tori.’

Fun Fact: The Prickly Rose, more commonly referred to as the Wild Rose, is Alberta’s provincial flower. I read that in my grandma’s old book on local flowers and decided to name my company after it. It also sounds pretty, yet dangerous. I like that…
